Services offered:
Computer Based Testing
Testing Services supervises the administration of national computer based exams for undergraduate and undergraduategraduate admissions. These include the GRE, MAT, PRAXIS, CLEP and TOEFL*.
The GMAT is no longer offered at the University of Kansas, however there are test preparation opportunities available on campus. KU Continuing Education is offering a GMAT Test Prep Course. For more information, please visit www.ContinuingEd.ku.edu or call 785-864-5823. .
*The TOEFL is administered as an internet based test on specific set dates, while the others are given by appointment daily. Please note that the University of Kansas testing site is listed under the Topeka area. When looking for a test site, Lawrence will not show as a choice until you are actually registering. At this point, choose Topeka and a choice between Topeka and the University of Kansas will appear.
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) is now offered at KU!!
National Paperbased Exams
Testing Services supervises the administration of national paperbased tests for undergraduate,
graduate, and professional school admissions. These include the GRE, MAT,
PRAXIS Series, Residual ACT, SAT, MPRE, and the LSAT. Information bulletins are available in a rack located outside of Testing
Services' office.
(Bulletins available are: GRE, PRAXIS, SAT, ACT, CLEP, LSAT, MAT, CHES)
Exam Scoring Services
Testing Services scans and scores multiple-choice exams for KU faculty and several other state departments. Instructors may choose from a variety of paper reports as well as digital feedback.
Exam Proctoring Services
Testing Services proctors a multitude of exams for students taking distance education courses through other universities, people taking employment exams for out-of-state entities, and national admissions exams, such as the Residual ACT (valid only at KU).
Survey Design and Scanning Services
Testing Services can help design surveys for projects that are relatively small in scope for an affordable price. These surveys can later be scanned and processed by Testing Services. Results can be requested in Excel, SPSS, or "raw data" formats.
