The GRE is used for admission into many graduate programs. This exam consists of three scored sections: Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical writing.
Fee: $150
Times offered: Daily; Monday - Saturday (8:30 and 12:30) - Reporting times are 8:00 and 12:00, respectively.
Testing times may vary depending on the time of year. Some evenings times are offered during peak season.
Testing time: Approximately 4 hours
ID required: 2 forms of ID, both with signatures, at least one with photo. (Passport, if not U.S. citizen)
Re-testing:Once per calendar month - no more than five times per twelve month period.
Special requests/accomodations: Candidate must call to schedule with ETS at 609-771-7670.
Test Aids: Scratch paper and pencils will be provided. NO OTHER TEST AIDS ALLOWED! Nothing may be taken into the testing room except for ID and key to locker.
Study Materials: Study materials can be downloaded from the GRE website at any time. Other study aids can be found at area bookstores and libraries.

Test Scores: Candidates can view their unofficial scores of the verbal and quantitative sections on the computer after completing the exam and can select up to four schools to receive their scores. The candidate and the selected schools will receive the official scores in two to three weeks.
Rescheduling: Must call 3 full days (not including day of test or day of request) prior to appointment and pay a $50 rescheduling fee. To transfer to another site when rescheduling call 609-771-7670.
Cancellation: Must call 3 full days (not including day of test or day of request) prior to appointment in order to receive a refund. Must follow guidelines in the GRE Bulletin and submit a written request to receive the refund. Refer any other refund questions to 1-800-GRE-CALL.
