How to register for the Praxis:
- Call (785) 864-2772 or 864-2768 to register by phone.
- Call the national number for the exam (University of Kansas, site number is 7566).
- Stop by Testing Services, Rm. 2150 Watkins Memorial Health Center, to register in person.

Description: This exam is used for admission into the school of education at many schools, including the University of Kansas. This exam consists of three tests: Mathematics, Reading and Writing.
Fee: CBT Prices: 1 test: $80, 2 tests: $120, 3 tests: $160, Combined Test: $130
Time offered: Twice daily, Monday - Saturday (Generally 8:30 and 12:30 when school is in session-some evenings offered during peak periods)
Testing time: 2 hours per exam (math, reading, writing) with 30 minute optional breaks between exams. Combined Test: approximately 4.5 hours.
ID required: Driver's License or two forms of ID with signature and photo.
Re-testing: Once per calendar month
Special requests/accomodations: Candidate must call to schedule with ETS at 1-800-967-1139
Test aids: NO TEST AIDS ALLOWED!
Study Materials: Candidates can call 1-800-537-3161 for study guides or go to any area bookstore for study materials. Download "Tests at a Glance" from www.ets.org/praxis.
Test scores: Candidates can view their scores at the end of the math and reading sections. The official scores will be sent to the student and selected schools in 2-3 weeks.
Rescheduling: Must call at least three business days (not counting day of test or day of call) prior to appointment and pay a $15 per test rescheduling fee. To transfer to another site when rescheduling call (609) 771-7395.
Cancellation: Must call at least three business days (not counting day of test or day of call) prior to appointment, follow the guidelines in The Praxis Series Guidelines Bulletin, and submit a written request in order to receive the $20 per test refund. The refund for the combined exam is $60. Please call (609) 771-7395 with any other refund questions. You may also call Testing Services at (785) 864-2768.
